Once upon a time I just chose to see more in the world, looking for stories in the hills that surround me, welcoming mythical birds with their thoughtful voices and discovered creatures that require a stillness to understand. Now this is what I make, all hand built in clay, using slab building, modelling and carving to slowly create them and tell their stories. All this from my little studio in Sheffield’s Yorkshire Artspace, with its views of the city and the clouds that constantly change the sky.
